Basic Waffles


  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs (separated)

Servings:8-10 waffles


  1. Plug in waffle iron.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, oil and egg yolks in a medium bowl.
  3. Whip egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff.
  4. Fold egg whites into batter.
  5. Pour into center of waffle maker. Ready when light turns green.


You must use a waffle iron in order for the recipe to work properly.
