Tavis’ Pork Tenderloin


  • Pork Tenderloin (1.5 lbs)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

This recipe has been adapted from several different recipes that Tavis found online. It is a favourite in our family.

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Add all spices together and mix in small bowl.
  3. Rub spice mix on tenderloin.
  4. Place large frying pan on stove with med/high heat. Add a bit of oil. Sear pork, turning tenderloin to sear all sides for approx. 5 minutes.
  5. Place tenderloin on rack of roasting pan and cook for approx. 40-50 minutes (until internal temperature reaches 145.
