Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter (melted)

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Fold in cheese, egg, milk, and margarine.
  3. Stir quickly until moist.
